Keynote Speaker: Derick Wilder
Derick Wilder is an Area Manager for Playball, an international child development organization dedicated to improving children’s lives through sport. Ten years ago, he gave up his “important career” as a corporate technology consultant, with its world travel and expense accounts, to work with children and, hopefully, make a difference. Since then, he has headed the effort to open a dozen Playball centers in Florida and the Carolinas. As a freelance author, Derick has written about children’s issues for magazines and newspapers, and currently has a contract to publish his first children’s book. |
